Winds of Change

Woow, okay so I haven’t done this in a long time. But I got lazy.. With posts and my clothes. School picked up and I had stuff to do. But this was me yesterday, two of my besties came to Chi on a field trip and it was an amazing day. I’ll try to keep updating periodically, but clearly it’s not going to be daily anymore.. It’s just not realistic, and I kind of knew that from the begining :)

Second day of classes! I didn’t dress up much today either, just a plain black long sleeve and dressed it up with some pearls. Wore another pair of flared jeans and my Pumas.. Added a headband to top it off.
I really like my classes so far, and my profs are pretty cool shit. My prof for Fundementals of Fashion Design is cool as hell, I can tell I’m really going to like that class. I’ve already done projects where I’ve had to determine a demographic and form a collection based on that, so I’m going into it with some prior knowledge which is nice.
Tomorrow afternoon I’m going home until Monday afternoon, and I’m staying at my boyfriend’s house where there is no internet.. I’ll do my best to take pictures, though they might just be with my webcam again, but I’m probably not going to be able to post until late Monday night after classes. It’ll be interesting to be back in that town and see all the trash there again after being in Chicago for almost two weeks..

This is my favorite tank.. It says “It’s all good” in French. I bought it when I was in Chicago for FCCLA Nationals. It was about $30, which is probably the most I’ve ever spent on a tank, but I definitely get the use out of it.

It’s Sunday.. Laundry and cleaning day, so I just wore a pair of jeans with boots and my favorite slouch top. I did dress it up a little with a flower in my hair though. Lazy day.

Last night was a blast. We moved my suitemate Schenay into my room, cause our roomies are kind of weird so we’re making them room together instead. Then Mayra and Ari came down and we left our door open, some guys stopped by at we sat up til 5 in the morning just bullshitting and playing Apples to Apples. Then Schenay and I slept in til 12:30 this afternoon. Haha!
So I didn’t feel like dressing up much today. Just wore my favorite jeans and fave cardi and my Puma’s.. And I don’t remember where I got anything from cause it’s all older clothes.
Today Colten and I explored Chinatown and were kind of dissapointed in the shops, not what we thought it was gonna be.. Now we’re chillin’ in my dorm waiting to head down to Navy Pier later for the fireworks. I hope we can find something around here to do afterwards, I don’t wanna buy another CTA pass and my UPass doesn’t activate til Tuesday. WTF Columbia!
Our roomates (now suitemates) come tomorrow though.. Eh. Gonna be a long day.

This is what I changed into.. Comfy as shit. I’m about to go get a day pass for the train and Colten and I are gonna go back to his dorm.. Then we might head over to Belmont and check out some shat. Dunno.
Right now my temp suitemate is moving to her new room upstairs, then hopefully either today or tomorrow I can help my other suitemate Schenay move her shit in my room.. We’re making our roomies room together :P
It was cold when I walked outside, that’s mainly why I changed. The skirt has huge baggy pockets on the sides.. Again, I’m a sucker for pockets.
